For our June 12th, 2026 meeting, RMCF welcomes back Miss Miranda Bracken. Her topic is You Shall Know Them by Their Fruits. The true test of an idea is its fruits after it's been applied to society. Ideas have consequences. Bad ideas have victims. In this lecture, we'll explore the history of the creation-evolution debate and consider the impact that the idea of evolution has had on Western society, starting from the moment Darwin published On the Origin of Species. We'll finish with an analysis of today's culture and consider what the church can do to repair our shattered society.

Miranda Bracken is a 2nd year undergraduate studying Journalism at Patrick Henry College in Virginia. She is fascinated by the connection between worldview and current events and is developing a platform called Worldview Collision to help her generation explore that connection more deeply. She has led several teaching sessions on creation and culture with the object of empowering the church and bringing many to faith in Christ. She is learning Hebrew and has a heart for the Jewish people and international missions. If you're looking for her, she's probably on top of a mountain, singing worship songs by the lake at night, or sitting on a plane having a conversation with a stranger.
